Micro-Internship

Graduation from university is one of the biggest milestones in a person’s life. Young adults come out of university with their eyes filled with dreams of proving themselves in the real world. But the dreams of many of these university graduates in Pakistan get a reality check when they are unable to find a job. Over 31 percent of the educated youth is unemployed while women constitute 51pc of the total unemployed population in Pakistan.

According to a March 2023 Gallup survey*, 41% of college graduates in the USA gained internship experience before their graduation. Their earlier research also showed that “….recent graduates who had a job or internship relevant to their degree while enrolled were more than twice as likely to secure a good job immediately after graduation.”

We have partnered with Parker Dewey to introduce their micro-internship platform in 2024 to connect ICMA Digital learners with micro internship opportunities domestically and in the USA.
